Starbucks, yes the place where you can find at just about every corner on the earth, is looking to expand it’s products and serve beer!
According to Beer Universe:
The coffee giant has plans to expand its beverage offerings, going beyond latte and frappe to cabernet and IPA. That’s right: USA Today reports that Starbucks is officially opening a remodeled café in Seattle, Washington, that will serve both beer and wine. Company executives acknowledge the goal of providing a more comfortable, neighborhood feel. They also hope to significantly improve evening sales by serving adult beverages. Currently, Starbucks stores nationwide do 70% of their business by 2pm, so staffing night shifts just isn’t cost-effective.
Now when you go to Starbucks you can wake up with a coffee before work, and then get hammered after work.
Brilliant!
